Romeo is a tax accountant in the firm. Prior to joining Wallace Neumann & Verville, LLP, Romeo worked for the Internal Revenue Service as a revenue agent for two and a half years. While working for the IRS, Romeo specialized in employment tax issues regarding officer’s compensation, independent contractors vs. employees, tip compliance reporting and various other tax issues. Romeo’s experience working at the IRS is valuable in assisting clients with IRS audit representation and negotiations.

Romeo moved to Las Vegas in 1996 and considers himself a local. He graduated from University of Nevada – Las Vegas (UNLV) with a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics, a second Bachelors of Science in Computer Science and a Master’s of Science in Accountancy. Romeo has also successfully passed the CPA exam and is working toward getting his CPA credential while working at Wallace Neuman & Verville, LLP.

For leisure, Romeo likes playing games (chess being one of his favorites), watching movies and traveling around the world. Romeo’s travels have taken him to China, Japan, London, Hungary, Prague, Austria, Spain and Poland. Recently, Romeo has taken up ballroom dancing.
